Specialized Studio Instruction
Study in a focused, private studio dedicated and designed specifically for violin and viola instruction. Offering complete training with full certification from the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA), professional membership in the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) and tenured membership with the Ann Arbor Symphony (A2SO) and Flint Symphony (FSO).
Classical & Contemporary Styles
Teaching methods combine Suzuki and traditional approaches as well as contemporary music. Lessons use a curriculum of graded repertoire that promotes steady progress and musical advancement while building into each student's individual, artistic goals.
Regular Recital Performances

Awards & Recognition
Within the studio, students are recognized and presented with awards each recital season for outstanding achievements. Categories include exceptional overall progress, technical advancement, and hard work through committed practicing.
Competition Achievements
Many of our students compete in competitions such as those presented by the American String Teachers Association (ASTA), American Guild of Music (AGM), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA), consistently receiving top ratings.
Festivals & Ensembles
Playing the violin or viola lends itself naturally to being part of a larger ensemble. Students are supported and encouraged to audition for chamber music groups, festivals, orchestras, and additional ensembles. Many students earn top placements in their auditions.
